Experience the Magic of weaving

Our first stop is Tapestry Weaving Yarns

We have taken the time to develop relationships with our Producers. Wool is not just a means to an end for us. It's a story.

The Navajo-Churro wool has its own unique path from the early explorers to an unlikely partnership between man and sheep and then to the rocky future that led to near annihilation of the breed. If you ask someone about the Churra genetics, the response is the same....there are at least 8 variations in Portugal alone. The modern Churro is a result of careful planning in breeding to help restore the historical genetics of the breed. If you wonder why the Navajo-Churro has that wild look in their eye? It's because of their history and the innate sense for survival amidst a turbulent human race! More soon....
