Wool in Agriculture

Our Story

We began composting years ago using wool from our processing but upscaled the size of the compost as the mill began to produce more waste. Wool has long been used for stabilization of unstable soils, but the use in the garden has been an open subject with many opinions. In a nutshell, wool is 50% organic carbon which means it's rich in everything our soils are lacking.

Our Mission

We want to bring awareness to the healthy uses of wool from raw to reclaimed. There are countries who have a stranglehold on its famers claiming wool as a bio "waste" which is then seen as trash. This is bull pucky! Animals and their bi-products have contributed to healthier ecosystems than the synthetic crap we have been told we should use. It's a natural herbicide and pesticide allowing beneficial bugs in and limiting nitrogen strangulation from energy sucker waste weeds.

Our Products

We offer a wide range of eco friendly wool and mixed fiber products. The waste comes either from wool that we can't process in to mill product or waste product from the machines in our mill. Either way, you get the benefit of the wool for your garden or large scale agricultural productions. Mulch and Compost will be available in person only.
